Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Complete Spring Hill Concrete website and any estimate, quote or work you ask us for. By using the site, calling us or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it.
When we sign a written estimate, proposal or contract with you for a specific job, that document controls wherever it differs from this page. These terms fill in anything the written agreement doesn't cover.
Who we are and what we do
Complete Spring Hill Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Spring Hill, TN. We pour and finish driveways, patios, sidewalks, garage floors, steps, pool decks, footings, foundations and other flatwork, which is our word for flat poured surfaces like slabs and walks. We also build retaining walls, do decorative and stamped concrete, and cut concrete. You can read more about us on our About page and see the full list of services from the home page.
We describe our services on this site in general terms. The exact work on your property, including the materials, slab thickness and finish, is set only by the written estimate or contract for your job.
Estimates and pricing
We give free on-site estimates, and asking for one doesn't commit you to anything. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the day we visit, so it's our best price for the work as described, not a promise about conditions we can't see.
Concrete prices move with the size of the job, the condition of the subgrade, which is the soil the slab sits on, any demolition and haul-off of old concrete, access for the truck, the finish you pick and the cost of materials. An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update it before we schedule the work.
If we find something during the job that the estimate couldn't account for, such as soft or wet ground, buried debris, roots or old concrete under the surface, we'll stop, show you and explain the options before doing extra work. Any added work or cost needs your approval, and we'll put it in writing.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We'll give you a start date when you book, but concrete depends on the weather. We won't pour in heavy rain, freezing temperatures or other conditions that would weaken the slab, so we may move your date to protect the work. We'll tell you as soon as we know and reschedule at the earliest good day.
Supplier delays, equipment problems, utility locates and other things outside our control can also move a date. We aren't liable for delays caused by weather or events we can't control.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (931) 486-8126 as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials, built forms or done site prep, you may owe for that work and those costs, as your written agreement explains.
Payment
The amount you owe, any deposit, and when each payment is due are set out in your written estimate or contract. Unless that agreement says otherwise, the final balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled, and you may be responsible for reasonable collection costs where Tennessee law allows. Approved changes to the job are added to the final bill at the price we agreed in writing.
Your part of the job
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to tell us about anything we should know before we dig, such as sprinkler lines, drainage pipes, septic systems, invisible pet fences or private utility lines. We aren't responsible for damage to buried items you didn't tell us about and that weren't marked.
If your job needs approval from a homeowners association or a permit from your city or county, the written agreement will say who arranges it. Please keep cars, people and pets off new concrete until we tell you it's ready. Curing is the waiting period while the concrete hardens and gains strength, and using the slab too early can damage it in ways we can't cover.
Our work and what we can't promise
We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about our workmanship isn't right, call us, and we'll come look at it and work with you to make it right. Any specific warranty, including what it covers and for how long, is the one written in your contract.
Concrete cracks. It shrinks as it cures, and the ground under it moves with moisture and temperature. We cut control joints, which are straight grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, but small hairline cracks can still show up, and they aren't a defect unless your written warranty says so.
We also can't promise an exact color match with existing concrete, perfectly even color across a new pour, or the same look on stamped and decorative finishes from one section to the next, because each batch and each day's weather varies a little. We aren't responsible for damage caused by de-icing salts, chemicals, heavy loads beyond what the slab was built for, poor drainage you control, tree roots, or changes made by others after we finish.
Apart from any written warranty in your contract, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, express or implied, to the extent Tennessee law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a driveway, lost income or inconvenience, that come from delays, defects or the use of this website.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that Tennessee law doesn't allow us to limit.
Using this website
The information on this site is general. It explains how concrete work usually goes, but it isn't advice for your property, and you shouldn't rely on it in place of an on-site estimate. We try to keep the site accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or current, and we may change it at any time.
The text, photos and design on this site belong to Complete Spring Hill Concrete. Please don't copy or reuse them without our permission. Our contact form is run by an outside service, and links to other websites are there for convenience only. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.
Settling disagreements
If something goes wrong, call us first. Most problems get solved by walking the job together and talking it through, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't settle it that way, these terms and any agreement for work are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any legal action will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Tennessee, and you and we agree to that court's authority.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't affect a written agreement we've already signed with you for a job.
If you have questions about these terms or about your job, call us at (931) 486-8126 or reach us through our Contact page.
